I Don’t love NY, Extended Versión’es el título del proyecto artístico que Charles Bignon presenta en Coll Blanc. La exposición deja entrever el idioma de una cultura contemporáneamente urbana, a punto de ceder ante el lado oscuro de una sociedad sumergida en la globalización y el consumo diseñada por el mundo publicitario y los medios de comunicación que propagan el estilo de vida capitaneado por los americanos.

Almería will be present at the great graphic event in Paris in France, La Fête du Graphisme until February 8. The work of the artist Charles Bignon has been chosen to represent the city of Almería in the Ailleurs exhibition within the program of this Garden of the Cité Internationale des Arts festival, in collaboration with the Alliance Française Foundation

The exhibition is part of a project of the 'Alliance Française' to disseminate 'Street Art' entitled 'Art is on the street' which includes, in parallel to the exhibition, a cultural program made up of guided tours in French or Spanish , the projection of documentaries. There are ten authors who contribute works to this exhibition: the Americans Obey, Seen, Quik, Taki183 and Cope2. The French will be represented with works by Speedy Graphito, C215, Jean Faucher, Miss Tic and Villegle. “The choice is coherent given the formal contrast of content between pure New York graffiti and Parisian stencils and poetry, the techniques as well as the approaches are very different”, pointed out Charles Bignon.
