Paris-NY: 50 years of street-art.

The exhibition is part of a project of the 'Alliance Française' to disseminate 'Street Art' entitled 'Art is on the street' which includes, in parallel to the exhibition, a cultural program made up of guided tours in French or Spanish , the projection of documentaries. There are ten authors who contribute works to this exhibition: the Americans Obey, Seen, Quik, Taki183 and Cope2. The French will be represented with works by Speedy Graphito, C215, Jean Faucher, Miss Tic and Villegle. “The choice is coherent given the formal contrast of content between pure New York graffiti and Parisian stencils and poetry, the techniques as well as the approaches are very different”, pointed out Charles Bignon.
